Standing Up to Authoritarianism
Veterans are marching in DC today demanding the impeachment of Trump and in support of the 14th Amendment. Many of us veterans are progressive despite beliefs to the contrary. Since there’s been very little coverage of all the protests ongoing around the nation, I worry that the same will happen today.
Please don’t let the media block it out.
I beg everyone to pay attention and support veterans and democracy by watching and talking about the protest.
Many of us take our oath seriously, many of us support progressivism and democracy. I’ve seen progressive veterans across the nation make plans to get to DC today—organizing and helping each other out. It’s been beautiful to see.
